This 10-acre project is one four-story, 132 Unit Mixed Use Redevelopment building, projected to be fully opened in January 2024. The western 10-acres, owned now by Redico out of Southfield, MI, began demolition on July 5, 2022. Construction began in Spring 2023.
The development will feature approximately 10,000 square feet of commercial space on the first floor. This commercial space may include commercial office space, a small cafe, as well as flexible conference rooms and a salon all available to the public.
The site is expected to include a CATA bus stop amenity alongside the included shuttle service for residents. This project, first approved in November of 2019, will be the bookend development site for the entire 40-acre area formally known as "Haslett Village Square".
The American House Meridian project, brought to us by Redico, is currently leasing residential space and interested parties can see the potential suite space in the leasing trailer on site. This project is only 10 acres on the western portion of the Haslett Village complex and is separated from the Haslett Village Square 2.0 redevelopment project.
August 2022
Demolition began at 1673 Haslett Road on July 5, 2022. The name changed from Pine Village to American Home Meridian due to an ownership change. Cypress Partners sold the property to the new operators of the building, Redico. The Redico company will begin the 114 mixed use development. The first floor of the development will be commercial office/retail space. It will also include common open space, walk-in retail options and a connection to the interurban trail. The approved Brownfield Plan of $3 million of the $20 million investment will assist site contamination clean up.

The demolition should take a couple weeks and be cleared in advance of Summer construction start time. The developer has changed the name of the project to "American House Meridian".
