On Sunday May 1 at 2:00 pm, weather permitting, a brief dedication ceremony will be held at the Donald Lillrose Memorial Garden to welcome benches erected in memory of Anthony Gallegos, son of Haslett Beautification Association (HBA) member Leo Gallegos, and, thanks to a donation by Tess Tavormina, Haslett resident Mary Sheridan. 

The Memorial Garden was planted by HBA members and dedicated to the memory of Donald Lillrose, long-time Haslett resident and member of HBA on June 29, 2019.

The Memorial Garden is located on a triangular piece of land bordered by Marsh Road, Lake Drive and Reynolds Road in Meridian Township. Community members are encouraged to park at Marshall Park (6105 Marsh Road), as no parking is available on site. 

A rain date for the ceremony is set for May 14 at 2:00 pm.
