Trailside Ecology Tuesdays will occur the first Tuesday of every month. Come explore our local parks and preserves with Land Stewardship Coordinator, Emma Campbell, and learn about native plant species, and the wildlife and insects that depend on them. Experience Township natural areas throughout the seasons, getting to know these spaces up close and personal. Whether you are a novice, or enjoy botanizing on your own time, all are welcome! We will choose a different location each time and wander through the trails looking for plants and critters to identify. Connect, learn, and conserve with us!
Participants must register for all events. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All Trailside Ecology hikes are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather. If you have a disability or, require specific accommodations, please reach out to discuss this further. We strive to make nature accessible to all those who wish to be in it.
