Neighborhoods & Economic Development Director, Amber Clark, will begin hosting Meridian Talks Development public meetings for Meridian Township residents and business owners to have a direct connection to development within the Township. The next meeting will be held virtually via Zoom on Wednesday, July 14 beginning at 7:00 pm to discuss the current status of development projects approved for Okemos. This meeting will be informal and allow for members of the community to hear of the steps taken to revitalize Okemos.
Members of the public are encouraged to come with questions related to the approved development projects in Okemos including but not limited to; the Village of Okemos, Buddy's Pizzeria, Sparrow, Silverstone Estates, Newton Pointe and new businesses. Director Clark will share the general process for development within the Township and possible avenues for future development in Okemos.
