This event is hosted by the Harris Nature Center Foundation and Paint Your Poison. Part of the proceeds of each ticket will go toward supporting Harris Nature Center Foundation to help fund upgrades to the Nature Exploration Area, a playscape for kids, and to support two “Music in Nature” public events set for later 2021.
No experience is needed to paint - Paint Your Poison makes it easy with a printed outline and carbon paper, so you can trace the image onto your canvas and then guide you step-by-step to paint.
There are two ways to join in on the fun: You can choose to either participate in the Live Zoom demo April 24 at 4:00 pm or you can paint along to a pre-recorded video tutorial. This kit includes an 11x14 canvas, a printed reference photo, a printed outline, carbon paper to transfer the outline drawing onto canvas, 5 paint colors, paper plate and access to the either the live Zoom session or video tutorial! Paint brushes can be added if needed. Artists of all levels are welcome to join in. Parents may need to assist children in transferring the outline image to canvas.
