Join the Meridian Conservation Corps (MCC) for a special spring ephemeral hike as part of the Trailside Ecology program! This event will take place on Tuesday, April 30 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at Hartrick Park (3685 Hulett Road, Okemos).
Join us as we learn how to identify spring wildflowers and why they are important parts of our ecosystems. We will learn about their amazing ecology and the ways we can conserve these valuable species.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or 517.853.4614. All events are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
If you would like to join the Meridian Conservation Corps to receive email updates on future stewardship events and get free MCC swag, sign up at the Meridian Conservation Corps webpage.
