A Sustainable Fashion Show will take place on March 16 at the Meridian Mall (1982 W. Grand River Ave., Okemos). Vendors will be offering upcycled and other types of sustainable clothing from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The fashion show will be from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm, where local students and others will model clothing on stage at the center of the mall.
Cristo Rey Community Center will taking donations of clothing (all seasons, but Spring/Summer preferred) for its clothing bank and exhibitors will have clothing, crafts, information, and more. Organization such as the Meridian Green Team and the Meridian Conservation Corps will be on site with more information on environmentally friendly living.

The Sustainable Fashion Show is a fun opportunity to learn about fashion options that can make a positive and attractive impact on people and the planet. This event is inspired and supported by area high school and college students in sustainability-related fields.
