Join the Meridian Green Team at the Meridian Mall (1982 W. Grand River Avenue, Okemos) on Saturday, September 21 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm for the Fall Electronics Recycling Day!
In addition to recycling your unwanted electronics, Meridian Cares will also be accepting new and gently used coats, snow pants, and boots for their annual coat drive.
Accepted Items:
- Electronics: TVs, monitors, computers, laptops, printers & scanners, fax machines, keyboards, computer mice, VCRs, DVRs, DVD players, hard drives, satellite boxes, tablets & E-readers, mobile phones, MP3 players, video game consoles, cords and cables, vacuum cleaners, coffee makers, toasters, and microwaves.
- TVs and monitors: $20 donation each (cash or check payable to Meridian Township)
- Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers, and Small Refrigerator/Freezers:
- Consumers Energy Electric Customers: Bring your old working appliance and receive a rebate in 6 weeks for responsibly recycling! Drop off your working air conditioner, dehumidifier, mini fridge or freezer for a $15 rebate (if eligible). Please bring a copy of your Consumers electric bill.

- Coats, Snow Pants, Boots, and Shoes: New and gently-used only.
Non-Accepted Items:
- Batteries, smoke detectors, lighting, and large household appliances.
