Save the date! The Meridian Township Parks and Recreation Department is collaborating with Jessey Adams to host the first ever Songwriters Showcase.
The event will take place on Friday, May 17 at the Marketplace on the Green Pavilion (1995 Central Park Drive, Okemos).
An acoustic open mic portion of the evening will begin at 6:00 pm, with signups starting at 5:30 pm. Anyone looking to perform during the acoustic open mic portion will be limited to one original (family-friendly) song. This is to ensure there is enough time to get through all open mic performers. Following the open mic portion, the three main acts will perform from 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm.

This event is free and open to the public, and there will also be pizza from Launch Trampoline Park available for purchase. They accept both cash and credit card. If the event needs to be postponed due to inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled for Saturday, May 18 at the same time and location.
