Due to the windy and slippery weather today, we will be cancelling this event scheduled for February 15th, 2024 at 1 pm. We will reschedule at the same time and location for our February 29th Weekday Warriors. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Join us at the Hillbrook Park parking lot located at the end of Montebello & Sherbrook Way in Haslett. We will work at a small, but valuable wetland, removing litter and invasive species to spruce up this area and get it ready for spring! All tools will be provided and no experience is necessary. Please dress appropriately for the weather. It is advised to wear waterproof footwear due to the wet nature of our parks and preserves at this time.
Weekday Warriors are a weekday stewardship group that is part of the Meridian Conservation Corps. We meet every other Thursday to work on small, but important stewardship projects in the Township. We do invasive species removal, litter cleanup, native seed collection and sowing, sometimes all at once!
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome.
