The Ingham County Road Department (ICRD) invites the public to attend a virtual public hearing via Zoom on Wednesday, January 31 at 6:00 pm.

The public hearing will address Ingham County's proposed conversion of Mount Hope Road between Hagadorn Road and Okemos Road from four lanes to three lanes including a center turn lane. This project is currently scheduled for 2025.

The Ingham County Road Department has completed similar conversions along Lake Lansing Road, Haslett Road (east of Marsh Road), Jolly Road, Central Park Drive, and Newman Road in Meridian Township. The planned configuration typically results in a significant reduction of left-turn crashes without a significant loss in traffic capacity.

Following the public hearing, public comments will be accepted by the ICRD until 3:30 pm on Friday, March 1 in writing, by email, or phone. All comments will be considered and documented in the administrative record for the proposed project.
