The Meridian Green Team will be hosting a Summer Green Fair at the Meridian Township Farmers’ Market on Saturday, June 17 from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm at the Marketplace on the Green Pavilion (1995 Central Park Drive, Okemos).

This Green Fair will provide opportunities for community members to learn more about the various green initiatives offered in Meridian Township.

The June 17 Green Fair will feature:

• Convenient options for recycling and disposal.
• Solar options for businesses and homeowners.
• Waste reduction information such as composting, food waste collection, and other recycling efforts.
• Information on electric bikes.
• Sustainable fashion with upscaled and repaired clothing provided by the Okemos High School Earth Club.
• Native plant information and resources.

A second Summer Green Fair will also be held on Saturday, July 15 from 9:00 am  - 1:00 pm at the Meridian Farmers' Market.
