Meridian “Green Days” continues with a medicine collection at the Marketplace on the Green (1995 Central Park Drive, Okemos) in conjunction with the Meridian Township Farmers' Market. 

Meridian Township is partnering with the Ingham County Health Department and local pharmacists on a medicine collection on Saturday, May 20 from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. The medicine collection and “Green Resources Table” will be located near the entrance to the Marketplace. 

Guidelines for medicine recycling:

• Remove old medicines from bottles/blister packs (except liquids and controlled medications) and place in ziplock bag. 
• Keep controlled medications in original containers and cross off name.

Meridian’s 2023 Recycling Events are supported by volunteers and co-sponsored by Granger Waste Services, Clerical Technical Union of MSU, Okemos Schools, Absolute Solar, Friedland Industries, Hammond Farms, and My Green Michigan.
