Meridian Cares About You: Health & Safety Expo Flyer
We’re excited to announce our new community event, Meridian Cares About You: Health & Safety Expo. The event will take place outdoors at the Marketplace on the Green pavilion on Wednesday, May 10 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and is co-hosted by the Meridian Township Board, Okemos Public Schools and Haslett Public Schools.
This event is free and open to the public! Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about the various health and safety resources available in Meridian Township
Participants can visit with different booths and will have the opportunity to speak directly with mental health professionals, local law enforcement, and other advocacy groups from around the Lansing area. Print materials will also be available at each booth.
Free food and beverages will be provided, as well as music, giveaways, and more. From 5:45 pm - 6:15 pm, keynote speakers will include Meridian Township Police Chief Ken Plaga and Ingham County Health Department Medical Health Officer Dr. Adenike Shoyinka.
