Have you ever wanted to learn more about incorporating solar power into your home? Meridian and Williamstown Townships are hosting an in-person solarize meeting at the Williamstown Township Hall (4990 Zimmer Road, Williamston) on Tuesday, March 21 from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm. 

This event is to help residents learn about solar electric systems and allows them to potentially purchase solar panels at a discounted price. Attendees are encouraged to ask plenty of questions. 

Meeting participants who are interested will be able to sign up with Absolute Solar to receive a solar proposal at no cost. If you decide to purchase a solar system from the installer, you will be eligible for a discount based on the number of participants in the group who are buying systems.

Every meeting attendee who decides to participate in the program is guaranteed a 5% discount. After 5 signed contracts, every additional participant adds an additional 1% discount for everyone (maximum limit of 15% off). Purchases may also be eligible for a 30% federal tax credit.
