Join us for a special Winter Solstice program at Red Cedar Glen Preserve from 5 pm to 6:30 pm. We will talk about the changing season as we look and listen for owls! We will have red lights available, cocoa and snacks. This is a wonderful winter experience and a chance to learn about northern living!
Trailside Ecology programs occurs once a month from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at a different location. Learn more about our local flora and fauna while getting to know our parks and preserves personally! This month we will be meeting on December 21st at Red Cedar Glen Land Preserve. Please note that this will be a night hike.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All events are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
