Due to cold, rainy weather, we will be cancelling our Weekday Warriors event scheduled today, November 21st, 2023. We apologize for any inconvenience.
Join us for pond buffer management at the Historical Village Pond! We will meet at the parking lot closest to the pond. Management activities may include invasive shrub removal and native seed sowing. No experience is necessary, we will teach you what you need to know! Please dress appropriately for the weather.
Weekday Warriors occur every other Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and litter pick up in high quality areas. Warrior workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community!
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All workdays are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
