The Stewardship Saturday on 9/9/2023 originally scheduled for Legg Park has been changed to Davis-Foster Land Preserve. Please be sure to wear long sleeves and bug repellent!
Stewardship Saturdays occur every other Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and sowing native seeds. Stewardship workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community! This event will be taking place at Legg Park and will focus on the removal of invasive species from high quality areas.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All workdays are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
