EVENT UPDATE
Due to the weather today, we will be pushing our meeting time back to 2 pm. It looks like the rain will mostly be passed us by then. Come on out and join us for some litter pickup!
Weekday Warriors occur every other Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and litter pick up in high quality areas. Warrior workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community! The workday on August 17th will focus on litter pick up along Central Park Drive starting at Central Park South. We will meet at the Marketplace on the Green (1995 Central Park Drive) and distribute supplies for trash pick up there.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All workdays are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
