We will be changing our Weekday Warriors location to Hartrick Park to pull invasive garlic mustard from the trailside and other locations at Hartrick. This park is diverse with spring flowers, so we are pulling invasive mustards to protect these valuable areas. Tools will be provided, it is recommended to bring a pair of work gloves.
Weekday Warriors occur every other Thursday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and litter pick up in high quality areas. Warrior workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community!
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All workdays are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
