(LOCATION UPDATE)
We will be moving our Stewardship Saturday location for tomorrow January 28th to Harris Nature Center. We will be removing invasive oriental bittersweet in the spruce forest. All tools are provided. The workday will end early due to cold temperatures. Please check for any last minute cancellations in the morning.
Stewardship Saturdays occur every other Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and sowing native seeds. Stewardship workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community! Our next upcoming one is on January 28 at Harris Nature Center.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register but walk-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All workdays are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
