This Trailside Ecology programis taking place on November 12th at Tihart Preserve from 10 - 11:30 am. Learn more about our local flora and fauna while getting to know our parks and preserves personally! This month we will be heading off trail to explore a unique area that was once a farm field and is now showing us its wild side! We will botanize and look for native plants that are popping up, as well as observe the effects of stewarding an old farm field.
Participants are encouraged to pre-register, but drop-ins are welcome. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All events are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
