The Ingham County Road Department will be holding a virtual public hearing over Zoom on Tuesday, October 4 beginning at 5:00 pm. The public hearing is for a proposed Lake Lansing Road Transportation Improvement Project scheduled to begin construction in 2023.
Lake Lansing Road would be converted from four lanes down to three lanes from Abbot Road to Hagadorn Road. Instead of having two through lanes in each direction, one through lane would be constructed in each direction, as well as a center left turn lane and bike lanes. The project would include pedestrian, bicycle and ADA improvements. The Lake Lansing/Birch/Towar intersection would also be reconfigured to create signalized crossing for pedestrians.
