Trailside Ecology Tuesday programs occur the third Tuesday of the month from 5:00 to 6:30 pm at a different location. Learn more about our local flora and fauna while getting to know our parks and preserves personally! This month we will be taking a walk along the Red Cedar river to identify wildlife, plants, fungi, and insects. If you have any guides you would like to bring, please do. We will be paying special attention to dragonfly and damselfly species. Long layers are advised to protect against irritating plants and insects.
RSVPS are appreciated, but not required. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All events are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
