Stewardship Saturdays occur every other Saturday from 9:30 am to 12:00 pm at a different location. Help the Meridian Conservation Corps restore habitat across our parks and preserves through activities like invasive plant removal and sowing native seeds and plants. Our focus is to create habitat for local insects and wildlife by removing non-productive plants, and replacing them with native plants that are adapted to our local climate, and provide food, shelter, and biodiversity. Stewardship workdays are a great way to get outdoors and improve our community!
Location is TBD and may not be verified until a week out from the workday date. Weather, rainfall, and timing all factor into our location determination.
RSVP for all events and workday is appreciated but not required. To register, or for more information, please contact Land Stewardship Coordinator Emma Campbell at ecampbell@meridian.mi.us or call at 517.853.4614. All workdays are outdoors and may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
